The Government of Canada has put forward a temporary, targeted measure known as the Manitoba Workforce Transition Bridge, which would let roughly 2,700 foreign workers already living and working in Manitoba keep their work authorization — and their legal status — while the province finishes outstanding Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) nominations.
